"Design2Cut", "we" and "us" mean the above. "You" means the person using the service.

2. What the service is

Design2Cut is a browser-based 3D furniture designer. You design cabinets, wardrobes, shelving or a full kitchen run, and it generates a parts list with cut sizes, edge banding, hardware and assembly notes, exportable as PDF and CSV.

3. Free and paid use

Current prices are shown in the application before purchase, in USD.

4. Purchases are made with Stripe

We sell through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe acts as merchant of record, which means your purchase contract for the payment is concluded with Stripe, not with us. Stripe collects the payment, applies any VAT or sales tax, and issues your invoice or receipt. Stripe's own terms apply to that transaction. These Terms continue to govern your use of the service itself.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The export is digital content delivered immediately. Before purchasing you are asked to confirm that you want immediate access and that you therefore lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. If you do not give that confirmation, the purchase cannot proceed.

If something goes wrong — a failed download, a duplicate charge, an export that does not match what you designed — contact hello@designtocut.com and we will put it right, including a refund where appropriate. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and continue until the end of the paid period.

6. The cut list is a calculation aid, not a guarantee

Read this before cutting anything. Design2Cut produces dimensions from the values you enter and from stated assumptions (board thickness, blade kerf, edge banding allowance, grain direction), all of which are printed on the exported sheet.

You remain responsible for checking every dimension against your own materials, machine and tolerances before cutting. Boards vary: nominal 3/4" is 19.05 mm in North America while the design assumes 18 mm. We do not warrant that the output is free of errors and we are not liable for material, time or cost lost to cutting from an unverified list. Measure and verify first.

7. Your account and your designs

Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your e-mail address; keep access to that mailbox secure. Your designs remain yours. We store them to provide the service and do not claim ownership. A design shared by link is accessible to anyone holding that link, so share it only with people you intend to.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, resell access, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of failures at providers we depend on. Features may change as the product develops.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence.

If we cannot resolve a complaint, Hungarian consumers may turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) competent for our seat in Budapest. Contact details are published at bekeltetes.hu.

For data protection complaints see our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the application or by e-mail. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
