"Design2Cut", "we" and "us" mean the above. "You" means the person using the service. A "consumer" is someone using the service outside their trade, business or profession; where these Terms treat business customers differently, they say so.
Design2Cut is a browser-based 3D furniture designer. You design cabinets, wardrobes, shelving or a full kitchen run, and it generates a parts list with cut sizes, edge banding, hardware and assembly notes, exportable as PDF and CSV.
Current prices are shown in the application before purchase, in US dollars. The final amount, including any tax that applies to you, is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Steps. (1) You design and open the export. (2) You choose a one-off project or Pro. (3) You tick the confirmation described in section 5. (4) On Stripe's checkout page you enter your e-mail address and payment details; the page shows the total with tax, and you can correct any entry before you pay. (5) You pay. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. You then receive a confirmation e-mail from us with the link to your design, and a receipt from Stripe.
Payment. We sell through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, charges any VAT or sales tax, issues your receipt and handles payment disputes, under its own terms. On your receipt and bank statement the seller appears as Link (LINK.COM), Stripe's checkout service. We provide the service and remain responsible to you for it under these Terms, including sections 5 and 6.
Your account. You do not need an account to buy. Your account is created from the e-mail address you enter at checkout, and we send the link to your purchased design to that address, so you can open it on any device.
Language and record. The contract can be concluded in English or Hungarian, in the language you use the service in. We do not file a separate copy of each contract; the Terms in force when you bought apply to your purchase, and we will send you that version on request.
One-off project. The export is digital content supplied immediately. Before purchasing you are asked to confirm that you want immediate access and that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the export is made available. Without that confirmation the purchase cannot proceed.
Pro subscription. Pro starts immediately at your express request. You may still withdraw within 14 days of first subscribing; we then refund the fee reduced in proportion to the days already used. To withdraw, write to hello@designtocut.com (you may use the form below, but you do not have to).
Cancelling Pro. You can cancel at any time: signed in, click "Cancel Pro" at the bottom of the left panel of the designer, or e-mail hello@designtocut.com from the address on your account. Pro stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed.
Refunds. If something goes wrong, for example a failed download, a duplicate charge or an export that does not match your design (see also section 6.3), contact us and we will put it right. Refunds are made through Stripe to your original payment method within 14 days of our decision.

6.1 What the list is based on. Design2Cut calculates the parts from the dimensions you enter and from the assumptions shown in the "Production assumptions" box on the PDF sheet and in the designer, including board thickness, blade kerf, edge banding allowance, grain direction, drawer slide type and sheet size. The list is correct if it matches your design under those assumptions. The CSV file contains sizes only; the PDF sheet is the complete version.
6.2 What you need to check before cutting. Check that the assumptions match your own board, saw and hardware. In particular the board thickness: Design2Cut uses 18 mm by default, and you can set it to match your own board in the designer (true North American 3/4" board, for example, is 19 mm). The list is calculated for the thickness shown in the assumptions on the sheet. Cut and dry-fit one cabinet before cutting the rest. Take appliance, sink and hob cutout sizes from the manufacturer's template.
6.3 If the list is wrong. If the list does not match your design and the stated assumptions (for example a part is missing or a size is miscalculated), tell us at hello@designtocut.com. We will send a corrected list free of charge or, if we cannot correct it within a reasonable time, refund through Stripe the price you paid for that design (for a subscription, the fee for the affected period) within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you also have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (correction, price reduction, or termination and refund), and nothing in these Terms limits it.
6.4 Losses from cutting. A claim for board, time or other costs is reduced to the extent the loss could have been avoided by the checks in 6.2, for example where a whole kitchen was cut from a list whose error the first cabinet would have shown. If you use Design2Cut for your business, section 10.2 also applies.
6.5 Assembly and installation. The assembly notes are general guidance, not installation instructions for your wall, floor or appliances. Choose wall fixings and anti-tip hardware for your wall and the fully loaded unit, install appliances according to their manufacturer's instructions, and fix tall and freestanding furniture to the wall before use. Gas, electrical and plumbing connections must be made by a qualified person. Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury.
Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your e-mail address; keep access to that mailbox secure. An account is also created when you buy without signing in, or when you ask us to e-mail you a cut list. Your designs remain yours. We store them to provide the service and do not claim ownership. A design shared by link is accessible to anyone holding that link, so share it only with people you intend to.
You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it ends an active Pro subscription immediately; to keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for, cancel it first and delete the account afterwards.
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, resell access, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that do. Before suspending an account we will tell you why, unless the law or an ongoing attack prevents it. If we end a paid subscription for a reason other than your serious breach, we refund the unused part.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of failures at providers we depend on.
The service develops over time. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel and receive a proportionate refund of a paid Pro period. If we ever close the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice so that you can download the exports you paid for.
10.1 Consumers. We are liable for loss caused by our breach of contract under the applicable law. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was made, and a claim is reduced to the extent you contributed to the loss (see section 6.4).
10.2 Business customers. If you use the service for your trade, business or profession, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss.
10.3 What is never limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional or grossly negligent breach, for harm to life, body or health, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may turn, as a consumer, to the conciliation board competent for our seat: Budapesti Békéltető Testület (Budapest Conciliation Board), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99., bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu. We may change these Terms for a valid reason, for example a change in the law or in the service. We will announce material changes in the application and by e-mail to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase already made. If you do not agree, you may cancel Pro before the change takes effect; a one-off purchase stays under the Terms in force when you bought it.
If a provision of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. The English and Hungarian versions have the same content; if they differ, the version more favourable to you as a consumer applies.
